Two Women Seriously Injured in A2 Crash Near Canterbury

Two women were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after their car smashed into a verge on the A2 last night.

Crash at Boughton Sparks Emergency Airlift

The smash happened around 9:40pm at Boughton, between Canterbury and Faversham. An officer driving along the route spotted the car’s lights off the road and called for help. Police and ambulance crews scrambled to the scene.

Paramedics found both women badly hurt. One was airlifted by helicopter to a London hospital, while the other was taken by road. Their names have not been released.

Road Closure and Investigation Underway

Police say injuries are serious but not life-threatening. The A2 was shut temporarily to allow emergency teams to work safely.

Authorities are still probing how the crash happened. Further updates are expected as investigations continue.
