No Red Arrows at Eastbourne Airbourne 2024

The Royal Air Force’s famed aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, won’t be dazzling crowds at Eastbourne Airbourne next year. Eastbourne Borough Council confirmed their absence, blaming “overseas commitments” from late July.

Council Sees Silver Lining

While fans will miss the iconic red jets, the council is turning lemons into lemonade. They plan to shake up the show with brand-new aerial acts to keep the skies buzzing.

Back in 2019, when the Red Arrows were off on their international tour, Eastbourne didn’t miss a beat. The Breitling Jets Team took to the skies, delivering a stunning and unforgettable display.

Fresh Faces for 2024

Eastbourne’s Events Team is already in talks with multiple aerial teams. Their goal? To serve up fresh, thrilling performances that will wow airshow fans and keep the tradition alive.
