Armed Cops Hunt Cash Point Raiders After Early Morning Ewell Smash-and-Grab

Surrey Police launched a full-scale manhunt after a gang ram raided the Co-Op in Ewell in the dead of night. The brazen raid unfolded at around 4.15am on 27 November when masked men tore off a cash machine from the shop on Ruxley Lane.

Officers, including armed units, swarmed the scene but the robbers made off before they could be caught. Police later found a red Mitsubishi 4×4 abandoned nearby, believed to be the getaway vehicle.
