Blaze Breaks Out on Townwall Street

Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a building fire on Townwall Street, Dover, with four fire engines battling the flames. Crews, equipped with breathing apparatus, conducted a full search inside the property while attacking the blaze with hose reel jets.

Police and Ambulance Teams Join the Scene

Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) also arrived to assist. The cause of the fire remains unknown as investigations get underway.

Fire Under Control as Crews Damp Down Hotspots

By 9:30pm, firefighters scaled down operations after making good progress. Only two engines remain to dampen hotspots. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.
