Search Underway for Missing Fife Man at Loch Rannoch
Reece, from Fife, vanished while camping with friends by Loch Rannoch’s north shore near Killichonan. He was last spotted around 11.30pm on Saturday 18 March.
What Reece Was Wearing
Reece stands 6ft tall, medium build, with dark hair. When last seen, he wore a black long-sleeved t-shirt featuring distinctive white ‘1’s on both sleeves spelling – MA STRUM, black jogging bottoms, and black wellington boots.
Possible Sightings and Ongoing Search
Police are investigating two possible sightings of a man matching Reece’s description:
- Saturday 18 March, around 11.30pm on the road between Liarn Farm and Aulich
- Sunday 19 March, approximately 8am on the B846, about 1 mile east of Aulich
Inspector Stephen Gray said:
“Our enquiries are continuing into these sightings. We urge anyone with information to come forward. Since Reece was reported missing, extensive searches have been carried out involving the Air Support Unit, Dive and Marine Unit, Police Scotland, and Mountain Rescue Teams.”
He added:
“We’re also reviewing CCTV and personal footage. This is a very distressing time for Reece’s family, who are deeply worried as this behaviour is totally out of character.”
