As the cortege paused outside Montebello, where Sinéad lived for 15 years, fans applauded and laid flowers. Her coffin was draped with vibrant blue and pink blooms — a fitting tribute to her colourful spirit.
A Volkswagen camper van adorned with the Pride and Rastafarian flags led the procession, blasting songs that carried Sinéad’s timeless messages of pain, resistance, and hope. Early risers lined the streets, leaving flowers and heartfelt notes celebrating her unforgettable voice.
Lasting Legacy Marked by Love and Activism
A pink chair surrounded by flowers and candles sat outside the pink-framed conservatory of her home, alongside a heart-shaped floral arrangement featuring two Irish flags and her photo — symbols of Sinéad’s deep connection to Ireland.
Signs displayed around the property honoured the causes she fought for throughout her life. Since her death was announced on July 26, countless fans have visited to pay tribute, turning the once-occupied house (sold in 2021) into a shrine of remembrance.
