High-Speed Police Chase Ends in Crash and Injury in Bradford
A wild police pursuit through Bradford ended in a nasty smash early Sunday. A BMW M3 refused to stop for officers, sparking a dramatic chase that left two people badly hurt.
BMW Fails to Stop, Crashes on Kings Road
At 5.28am, police patrolling Canal Road ordered the BMW to pull over. The driver ignored the command and sped off, sparking a high-speed pursuit. The chase reached Kings Road, where the fugitive lost control, crashing into two parked cars and bringing the drama to a sudden end.
Two Hospitalised, Roads Closed
Both the driver and a female passenger were rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, Kings Road and nearby Swain House Road remain cordoned off as emergency crews continue their work.
“A scene is in place covering both sides of Kings Road and Swain House Road,” police said. “This is likely to remain in place for a few more hours today.”
Officials are urging locals to avoid the area while police investigations and recovery efforts are underway.
