Car Blaze in Hawkinge Sparks Garage Inferno
A car fire in Hawkinge, Folkestone quickly spiralled out of control, spreading to a nearby residential garage.
Firefighters Rush to Tackle Flames
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded fast to an emergency call at Gray Close. Four fire engines arrived armed with breathing apparatus and high-pressure hose reel jets. Fire crews battled the blaze with specialist gear to douse flames and stop further destruction.
Close Call: Neighbours Evacuated for Safety
As a safety measure, several homes nearby were evacuated while firefighters tackled the fire. Fortunately, once the fire was out and the area declared safe, residents were free to return.
All Safe but Fire Cause Unknown
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the blaze remains a mystery as investigations continue.
