Essential Diversion Routes to Beat the Gridlock
If you’re travelling westbound, follow the solid triangle diversion signs:
- Exit M3 at J2 and take the M25 clockwise.
- Leave at J13, then take the A30 exit towards the A308 and the Egham By-Pass.
- Drive through Sunningdale to Bagshot.
- At Grove End roundabout, take the first exit.
- Follow signs to the A322 and turn left.
- At the roundabout, take the third exit back onto M3 westbound.
Eastbound drivers, look out for the solid diamond diversion signs:
- Exit M3 at J3, then take the first exit onto the A322.
- Exit onto the A30 London Road at Sunningdale.
- Continue through Sunningdale to Egham.
- Join M25 at J13, head anticlockwise to J12, then rejoin M3 eastbound.
