Blaze Breaks Out in Hastings Building
East Sussex Fire and Rescue have launched a full-scale response to a fiery inferno in Hastings this afternoon.
Massive Firefighting Effort Underway
Four pumping appliances and an aerial ladder platform are battling flames engulfing a three-storey property on St Mary’s Road.
Twenty-five firefighters and officers have been deployed. Three teams wearing breathing apparatus are inside the building, using two hose reel jets in a desperate bid to control the blaze.
Road Closures and Disruptions
Drivers and the public have been urged to steer clear of the area and respect all road closures while crews work to bring the fire under control.
