Tragedy on Bullock Stone Road: Man Dies in Early Morning Incident Near Herne Bay

Serious Incident Shuts Road

Police and paramedics rushed to Bullock Stone Road near Greenhill, Herne Bay, following a serious incident just before 7am on Tuesday.

The road was closed both ways as emergency services tackled the unfolding situation.

Emergency Response Teams on Scene

A specialist HART paramedic team from South East Coast Ambulance teamed up with Kent Police officers to manage the incident and provide support.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while the investigation continues.

Police Confirm Fatality: Not Treated as Suspicious

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to Bullock Stone Road near Herne Bay at 6.35am on Tuesday 24 August 2021 following concern for a man. Officers attended and a man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”

The A299 Thanet Way, briefly closed during the response, has now reopened.
