The TV presenter first confirmed she was six months pregnant in March during a BBC Breakfast interview, revealing she was expecting a boy. She explained her hopes for her son to grow up supporting positive change in sex consent laws, saying:
“So I want him to be a part of a really positive change and I want him to grow up knowing he can talk about these things openly and enjoy his life. I want him to be on the right side of history.”
Pregnancy has clearly reshaped Emily’s outlook. Speaking on Loose Women, she admitted she now treats her body as a “temple” and prioritises health, something she previously struggled with when staying out late and ignoring her wellbeing.
Longtime Love: Emily and Alistair’s Family Connection
Emily and Alistair’s romance dates back years through their blended family ties. Emily’s mum, Kate Robbins, is the sister of Alistair’s stepmother, Jane Garner. They were introduced when Jane began dating Alistair’s dad, Stephen Garner, in the early ’90s.
Though they kept their relationship under wraps for a while, sources say the pair grew close over the last year and recently moved in together. A family insider told MailOnline:
