Firefighters Rush In, Blazes Tackled with Precision
Three fire engines roared to the scene. Fire crews, kitted out in breathing apparatus, unleashed a main jet, hose reel, and positive pressure ventilation fan to fight the fire hard and fast. The blaze, thought to have started accidentally in a fridge freezer or tumble dryer, was under control after around two and a half hours.
Safety Tips from the Firefighters
- Always have working smoke alarms in your home.
- Keep tumble dryers clear of clutter to allow fresh air in.
- If a fire breaks out, get out immediately and call 999.
- Never re-enter a burning building or try to tackle the blaze yourself.
Fire crews will revisit the home later today to ensure all is safe and continue advising neighbours on fire safety. Remember, when fire strikes, safety comes first – leave rescue work to the professionals.
