Massive Fire Engulfs Workshops
Fire crews have tackled a massive fire at agricultural workshops in Great Totham. The blaze, roughly 60 metres by 20 metres, involved cylinders and vehicles, raising serious safety concerns.
Six Crews Race to the Scene
The emergency call came in at 11.10pm on Sunday, 12 April. Six fire crews and an aerial ladder platform were deployed to the scene at the peak of the incident. They fought through the night to bring the fire under control.
Fire Chief Praises Crew Efforts
“Crews worked really hard to surround the fire and stop it from spreading. They battled through the night and were relieved by fresh teams at around 3am,” said Station Manager Scott Fretton.
He added: “We have now scaled down to two crews who will continue dampening down and hunting for hotspots.”
Investigation Underway
An investigation is scheduled for today to determine the cause of the fire. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
