Quack Rescue! Kent Firefighters Save Five Ducklings Stuck in Chimney

Feathered Fiasco Sparks Emergency Call

Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene when five ducklings found themselves in a sticky situation—trapped inside a chimney in Hawthorn Park.

Brave Crews Use Ladders to Reach Fluffy Fowl

Firefighters arrived in a fire engine, swiftly setting up ladders to reach the helpless baby ducks who’d apparently been nesting with their mum in the chimney.

Safe and Sound: Happy Ending for the Ducklings

The crews carefully lifted the fluffy ducklings out and carried them safely to the ground. Soon after, the entire feathery family was reunited and handed over to local wildlife carers.

The ducklings will be relocated to a nearby lake, ready to start their new lives away from the chimney chaos.
