Blaze Breaks Out on Seventh Floor of Eleven-Storey Block
Firefighters swooped on a fire that broke out on the seventh floor of an eleven-storey building. The blaze damaged part of a three-room flat, but thankfully no one was hurt.
Quick Response Keeps Damage Minimal
The Brigade was called at 4.03pm and had the fire under control by 4.36pm. Crews from Greenwich, New Cross, Lewisham, and East Greenwich rushed to the scene to tackle the flames.

Fire officials are now probing the cause of the fire to prevent future incidents.
