Massive Flat Fire in Dover Blazes Through Early Sunday
Chaos on 1 Road as Flames Break Out
Emergency crews rushed to a huge flat fire on 1 Road, Dover, early Sunday morning, May 25, 2025. The alarm was raised at 7:44 AM, triggering a full-scale response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
Major Firefighting Effort Underway
Five fire engines and a height vehicle tore through the streets to tackle the inferno. Firefighters decked out in breathing apparatus blasted the fire with a main hose jet. Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were also on hand to manage the scene.
Fire Extinguished But Cause Still a Mystery
The blaze was brought under control by 1:55 PM. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Authorities are now probing the cause of the fire as locals breathe a sigh of relief.
