Shot Hits Taxi Window in Busy Soho Street

A gunshot smashed the window of a black taxi stuck in traffic on Dean Street, Soho, this morning at around 10:10 am. The taxi driver was stationary near Oxford Street when the terrifying shot was fired directly at his vehicle.

Miraculously, no one was hurt in the frightening attack.

Met Police Launch Investigation

The Metropolitan Police have launched an urgent probe into the incident. Officers are still at the scene, keeping key roads closed while they comb the area for clues.

“Police were called at 10:10 hrs on Tuesday, 1 October following a firearms discharge on Dean Street, Westminster,” a Met spokesperson said. “The driver reported a shot fired at his vehicle, striking the window. There were no injuries. Our investigation is ongoing.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives are urging anyone who saw or heard the gunshot, or who was near Dean Street at the time, to come forward. Any information could be crucial to catching those responsible.
