A powerful BMW smashed into a telegraph pole late Monday night, wrecking internet services and causing chaos in Heston.

Midnight Crash Brings Chaos to North Hyde Lane

The smash happened just before midnight on 25th February at North Hyde Lane near New Heston Road. Emergency crews swarmed the scene after the car tore into the pole, knocking down lines and blocking the road both ways.

Bus Routes Disrupted as Residents Lose Internet

The impact left several homes without internet. Transport for London confirmed that bus routes 482 and H32 were disrupted by road closures. Diversions rerouted traffic from North Hyde Lane via Thorncliffe Road, Norwood Road, Heston Road, New Heston Road, and Vicarage Farm Road, with buses taking the same paths both ways.

Scene Cleared by 4 AM, Police Investigate Crash

The vehicle was recovered, and the road reopened by 4am on Tuesday, restoring normal bus services. Luckily, no one was hurt.

“Residents affected by the internet outage have been advised to contact their service providers for updates on repair timelines,” police said.
