Hoyland Horror: Three-Car Pile-Up Sparks Investigation
Chaos hit the junction of Hoyland Road and Fearnley Road yesterday evening after a three-vehicle smash. Special Constables from Barnsley rushed to the scene, only to find one vehicle’s occupants had fled before help arrived.
Minor Injuries, Major Disruption
Despite the nasty crash, miraculously, everyone involved escaped with just minor injuries. However, clearing the wreckage took hours, disrupting traffic and stirring concern among locals.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage
South Yorkshire Police thanked drivers and residents for their patience while the scene was secured. A spokesperson urged:
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist with our investigation.”
