Tragedy on A2: Woman in 60s Dies After BMW Collision
At around 3:45pm on Saturday 17 September 2022, a blue BMW struck a pedestrian at the busy junction of the A2 Watling Street and Holmside.
The victim, a woman in her 60s, was rushed to hospital but sadly later died from her injuries.
Kent Police Launch Serious Collision Probe
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now investigating the crash. They urgently want anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Police are especially keen to hear from people who left the scene without speaking to officers, as well as drivers in the area who might have dashcam footage.
