Tragic Stabbing of Terry, 46, in Northlands Park – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Terry, 46, was fatally stabbed in Northlands Park at around 1.30am on 11 July. He later died in hospital, leaving family and friends devastated.

Seven Arrested But On Bail, One Woman Held

Seven suspects have been arrested on suspicion of Terry’s murder but are currently on bail. Additionally, a woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Family Pleads for Help: “Please Come Forward”

Terry’s parents released a heart-wrenching statement:

“We’re devastated by Terry’s loss and desperately need anyone who knows what happened to come forward. Terry was always polite and kind-hearted, willing to do anything for anyone. We miss him dearly and want those responsible brought to justice. So if you have any information about what happened, no matter how small, please, please, please come forward and report it.”

CCTV Footage Released, Police Seek Witnesses

Police released CCTV footage showing four people they believe may be witnesses. They urge anyone who recognises them or has any information to get in touch.

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Metcalfe, from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said:

“I believe there are people in the community with information about Terry’s death who have not yet come forward. You can report what you know 100% anonymously. No personal details are asked, calls aren’t recorded, and your number is never displayed or traced.”
