Isle of Wight Ford Takeover Nets Over £750 for RNLI
The Isle of Wight Ford Takeover has smashed fundraising goals for the RNLI. A presentation was held this evening to hand over the funds raised at May’s event at Beaper Farm.
Ford Fans Rally for a Good Cause
The two-day meet-up attracted several hundred Ford enthusiasts from across the island and beyond. Together, they raised over £750 to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
Next Year’s Event Already in the Works
Organisers say planning for the 2019 takeover is already underway. They hailed the 2018 event as a brilliant success and are excited to top it next year.
“It was a fantastic effort by everyone involved and the event went down a storm on the Island,” said one organiser.
