Neighbours fans are buzzing as Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have reunited on set as their iconic characters Charlene and Scott for the soap’s final episode. It’s the first time the beloved pair have teamed up in over three decades!
Photos from the set show the duo laughing and hugging, with Kylie slipping back into Charlene’s classic mechanic overalls – the outfit that made her a fan favourite. Jason reprises his role as her on-screen husband Scott Robinson as the Aussie soap wraps up after 37 years.

Kylie treated her 2.2 million Twitter followers to the snap, captioned: “Now we’re back together.” Jason posted a signed Ramsay Street sign and his script cover, calling Kylie an “absolute legend.”
Neighbours Bids Farewell After Iconic Run
The legendary show, which launched in 1985, follows residents of the fictional Melbourne suburb Erinsborough. Production is ending after the broadcaster dropped the show earlier this year and new funding fell through.
Jason and Kylie originally left the show in 1989 and 1988 but remain fan favourites. Their 1987 wedding episode pulled in over two million Aussie viewers – but it was the UK that went mad with nearly 20 million tuning in the following year.

Other Neighbours stars are swinging back to Ramsay Street for the curtain call. Guy Pearce, who launched his career as Mike Young, returns alongside Peter O’Brien (Shane Ramsay), Ian Smith (Harold Bishop), Mark Little (Joe Mangel), and Paul Keane (Des Clarke).
