LloydsPharmacy Pulls Out of 237 Sainsbury’s In-Store Pharmacies

LloydsPharmacy has announced it will shut down all 237 pharmacy branches inside Sainsbury’s stores, ending a deal struck back in 2015. The closures will roll out over the next few months, leaving many customers wondering what’s next.

Sainsbury’s spokesperson confirmed the pharmacy exit, stating: “LloydsPharmacy is withdrawing pharmacy services from our stores over the coming months.” They added they will work closely with LloydsPharmacy to make sure customers know where to access alternative pharmacy services.
