London Fire Brigade Sends Massive Convoy to Aid Ukrainian Firefighters
The London Fire Brigade has launched a major humanitarian mission, dispatching a convoy loaded with vital fire and rescue equipment to Ukraine. Heading to the Polish-Ukrainian border, 30 fire and rescue vehicles, two mechanic vans, and an HGV carrying over 2,800 surplus items are on their way to support firefighters battling the ongoing crisis.

Led by Fire Aid and the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), the convoy includes Command Support Units, a fire engine, and essential hose branches to aid water flow during firefighting. The team features 27 Brigade staff, volunteer firefighters, and Fire Aid personnel from all over the UK, all pitching in to deliver crucial kit to Ukraine’s frontline crews.
