Southsea Fire Station’s White Watch raced to the scene last night after a terrifying car crash. The blaze broke out just outside the iconic Portsmouth Naval Memorial.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight 1 service spokesman revealed: “We were called around 4.15am about a road traffic collision and a car on fire. When we arrived, the car had flipped onto its roof and was fully ablaze.”
Driver and Passenger Escape Serious Harm
Luckily, no one was trapped inside the blazing wreck. The driver and passenger suffered only minor injuries and were taken to hospital, with no serious harm reported.
