Major M2 Closure Chaos as Crash Blocks Key London Route
Emergency services, including Kent Police, are currently on the scene following a serious collision on the M2. National Highways Traffic Officers have also joined in to manage the snarled traffic.
Follow This Diversion to Avoid M2 Mayhem
If you’re diverted from the M2 westbound towards London, stick to the solid square diversion signs. Here’s the route:
- Leave the M2 at Junction 6 near Faversham.
- Head south on the A251 towards the A252 in Challock.
- At the A252 roundabout, take the exit westbound towards Charing.
- Join the A20 westbound towards Maidstone and proceed to Junction 8 of the M20.
Rejoin M2 Via M20 and A249
- From M20 Junction 8, head westbound towards Junction 7.
- Exit at Junction 7 and merge onto the A249 towards M2 Junction 5.
- At Junction 5, rejoin the M2 westbound.
