M2 Motorway Shut After Serious Van Crash Near London
A major crash has brought the M2 motorway to a standstill near London this morning. Around 10 am, a large van smashed off the road and ended up in a ditch beside the motorway, sparking chaos and a full closure.

The motorway has been closed between junction 6 (A251) and junction 5 (A249) by the Stockbury roundabout. Officials warn this section will remain shut until at least 5 pm today as recovery and cleanup continue.

Traffic is gridlocked, with queues stretching over a mile. Around 123 vehicles are caught in the snarl-up. Motorists are urged to find alternative routes and check live traffic updates before heading out.
