Harold Morning Chaos: Car Flips on Kenton Road

A major Harrow road was shut tight this morning after a car spectacularly overturned on its roof, sparking rush hour mayhem.

Rush Hour Road Drama on Kenton Road

The smash happened around 7:25am at the busy junction of Kenton Road and Sheepcote Road. The crash caused havoc, halting traffic both ways and derailing several bus routes across the area.

Emergency Crews Race to Scene

Photos show the car flipped upside down as emergency teams swooped in. Witnesses spotted three ambulances flying through Harrow Town Centre and rushing down Pinner Road seconds after the crash.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed: “Officers were called to Kenton Road, Harrow at 07:25hrs on Friday, 14 March following reports of a road traffic collision. A man, the driver of the vehicle, received treatment at the scene for minor injuries and was later taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

The London Fire Brigade also tackled a small fire sparked by the collision, putting out flames quickly.

Chaos Clears But Delays Remain

Authorities closed Kenton Road completely, causing gridlock and forcing bus routes 182, 186, 223, 483, H14, H18, H19, and SL10 onto lengthy diversions. The road has since reopened, but traffic jams lingered in nearby streets as the area recovered.

Police are yet to reveal what caused the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
