Tragic Crash in Kings Meaburn Claims Two Lives
Two people have died in a serious road crash near Kings Meaburn this morning. Police were called at 7:40am after a white Citroen Berlingo van was found off the road on the stretch towards the B6260 near Drybeck.
Victims Identified
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Ashton-in-Makerfield, and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Golborne, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Hunt Witnesses
Officers are carrying out a collision investigation to uncover exactly what happened. They urge anyone who saw the white Citroen Berlingo in the area or has any information to come forward.
