Boat Capsizes at Roadford Lake: Emergency Services Rush to Scene
A dramatic rescue unfolded at Roadford Lake in Lewdown, Okehampton, after a boat capsized around 1.30pm today. Dozens of people were reportedly onboard when disaster struck.

- Police, ambulance, air ambulance, coastguard, and search and rescue teams were dispatched immediately.
- Paramedics rescued three people from the water, all discharged after treatment on site.
- Two others were pulled from the lake and rushed to Derriford Hospital. Their conditions remain unknown.
- Search efforts continue for two missing adults feared still in the water.
