Man arrested after Stabbing in Soutampton
Police are investigating a serious assault on Golden Grove, Southampton at around 1am on Monday, January 9. A man in his 30s was reported to have suffered a stab wound to his chest. A 29-year-old man from Southampton was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody at this time. Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the Golden Grove area today. At this time, we believe this to be an isolated incident. The man’s injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
