Man Found Dead with Head Injury on Busy East London Street

Early Morning Horror in Dalston

A man in his late 30s was discovered with a serious head injury on Kingsland High Street, Dalston, at around 5 a.m. today (April 12). Emergency services rushed to the scene near Dalston Junction London Overground station after a passerby raised the alarm.

Paramedics’ Efforts Failed

Paramedics carried out CPR but sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed officers are working to identify the victim and notify his next of kin.

Road Closures and Bus Diversions in Place

The death is being treated as unexpected and remains under investigation. No arrests have been made so far.

Kingsland High Street is shut both ways between Balls Pond Road and Sandringham Road. Buses 67, 76, 149, 243, and 488 are diverted, but traffic is reported to be flowing smoothly.
