Man Rushed to Hospital After Horror Crash on Bromley Road

A man has been rushed to hospital following a serious smash on the busy A21 Bromley Road, near Bellingham train station.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called just after 4pm yesterday (April 23) to reports of a collision. They treated the male victim at the scene before speeding him to hospital as a priority. His current condition remains unknown.

“We were called at 4.01pm yesterday (23 April) to reports of a road traffic collision in Bromley Road, SE6. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated one patient at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.” – London Ambulance Service spokesperson

Chaos as Road Shuts for Hours

The crash forced the closure of Bromley Road between Carstairs Road and Bellingham Road, causing severe traffic disruption on the Lewisham and Bromley border. The road only reopened later that evening after emergency services cleared the scene.
