Met Office Slaps Yellow Weather Warning on South-East

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the South and South-east of England starting 10am Thursday through to 7am Friday. Brace yourself for heavy rain and strong winds set to disrupt your day.

Flooding and Travel Chaos Loom

Expect nasty spray and flooding on roads, making journeys longer and more hazardous. Bus and train services are “probably affected,” so plan ahead.

Flooding of homes and businesses is also possible, adding to the stormy misery.

Non-Stop Rain Set to Soak the Region

  • The Met Office predicts a 90% chance of rain from Thursday morning until 8pm Thursday.
  • Rain will continue into Friday, with up to an 80% chance of showers until 7am.
