Police Car Crashes at Busy East London Junction

A police car smashed into another vehicle at the junction of Nuttall Street and Kingsland Road, E2, late Sunday morning. The crash happened just before noon, sparking a rapid emergency response.

Passengers and Officers Rushed to Hospital

A 53-year-old woman passenger in the other vehicle was taken to a hospital in East London. Her condition remains unknown. Two police officers from the squad car were also hospitalised as a precaution. The London Ambulance Service was quick on the scene to provide medical aid.

Roads Shut, Investigation Underway

Emergency crews closed roads around the scene to allow safe working and start an official investigation. The Metropolitan Police are probing the crash and trying to piece together what went wrong.
