A huge blaze tore through a restaurant and industrial warehouse in Park Royal in the early hours of Thursday morning, sparking a massive response from the London Fire Brigade.

Emergency Chaos Hits Coronation Road

At around 3:45am on 6 June, multiple 999 calls flooded in reporting a fierce fire at a commercial property on Coronation Road, Park Royal, in the London Borough of Ealing.

A staggering 15 fire engines and about 100 firefighters raced to the scene from stations across Park Royal, Acton, Willesden, Wembley, and neighbouring areas, battling the inferno through the night.

Widespread Destruction and Damage

  • The roof and first floor of the two-storey building, housing both a restaurant and warehouse, were completely destroyed by the fire.
  • Half of the ground floor and sections of neighbouring units suffered significant fire damage.
  • Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.

High-Tech Firefighting Gear in Action

To tackle the enormous blaze, crews deployed specialist equipment including:

  • A Hose Layer and High Volume Pump to boost water supply.
  • A 32-metre turntable ladder used as a water tower for aerial firefighting.

The fire was finally brought under control by 8:29am, nearly five hours after flames first erupted.

Investigation Underway as Cause Remains Unknown

Fire investigators remain on site combing through debris and the building’s remains to determine what sparked the devastating blaze. The cause is currently under investigation.

Local Community Advised to Steer Clear

Nearby residents and businesses were warned to avoid the area during the peak of the emergency. A safety cordon was put in place to allow firefighters to work without interruption.

London Fire Brigade praised the quick and coordinated response that kept the fire from spreading further in the busy industrial zone.
