Pensioner Tragically Killed in Harrow Road Crash
A 74-year-old man has died following a serious collision in Harrow. Police are urgently hunting witnesses to piece together what happened.
Fatal Smash Outside Rayners Lane Tube
Emergency services raced to Rayners Lane, HA2, at 5.47pm on Monday 27 January after a call reporting a crash.
The pensioner suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a black Vauxhall Mokka near Rayners Lane Underground Station. Despite being rushed to hospital, he sadly passed away shortly after arrival.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The driver of the Vauxhall is fully cooperating with detectives. Roads were closed for hours as officers investigated the scene.
Detective Sergeant Nick Mackian said: “We thank the local community for their patience during the road closure. If you saw the incident or have dash-cam footage from before, during, or after, please get in touch immediately. Your help could be crucial.”
