Pensioner Hurt in New Eltham Lamp Post Crash
A pensioner was rushed to hospital after crashing his car into a lamp post in New Eltham tonight.
Crash on Footscray Road
The collision happened near the junction with Cambridge Green on Footscray Road. Emergency services, including paramedics and one fire brigade crew, quickly arrived at the scene.
Man Taken to Hospital, Vehicle Totalled
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be serious.
The car was a write-off following the crash, with crews securing the area to keep everyone safe.
