Tragic Death as Person Hit by Train at Bromley South Station
A person has died after being hit by a train at Bromley South station early Wednesday morning.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
At 5.26am, police and paramedics were called to reports of a casualty on the live tracks between platforms. Despite desperate efforts to save the individual, they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Investigation Underway
A British Transport Police spokesman said:
“Officers were called at 5.26am on May 22 following a report of a casualty on the tracks at Bromley South station. LAS attended and sadly a person has since been pronounced dead.”
He added that officers are working to trace the person’s next of kin.
