Bus Crash Sparks Chaos on Great Peter Street
A terrifying bus crash shook Westminster just before 1:40pm yesterday (October 7), causing panic and chaos. Emergency crews rushed to the scene on Great Peter Street to help those caught up in the smash.
Four Treated, One Rushed to Hospital
London Ambulance Service assessed four people at the scene. Three refused treatment, but one victim was taken to hospital. Their condition remains unclear.
“We assessed four patients at the scene. Three people declined treatment and one was taken to hospital,” confirmed a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.
Investigation Launched as Authorities Respond
Transport for London is working closely with bus operator Transport UK to get to the bottom of the crash. A spokesman offered sympathy for those involved.
“Our thoughts are with the one person believed injured and anyone else affected by this distressing incident. Support is available for those impacted,” the TfL spokesperson said.
Eye-Popping Images Show Crash Aftermath
Taxi driver Michael “Bubba” H shared dramatic photos on Twitter showing the battered bus and a nearby smashed cab.
“Another bus crash, Gt. Peter St. Poor cab the other side smashed up too,” he wrote.
