Man Spits Near Baby in Shocking Crawley Incident
Police are hunting a yob who spat towards a 7-week-old baby in Crawley, sparking outrage. The disturbing event unfolded in Broadfield 3G Stadium car park on Sunday morning.
Close Call for Baby Pushed in Stroller
At around 11:20am on March 23, a man was pushing his infant in a pushchair when another man approached and spat in the direction of the child. Fortunately, none of the spit hit the baby.
Sussex Police Launch Urgent Appeal
The incident has alarmed local residents and sees Sussex Police probing the matter urgently. A police spokesperson said:
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information that could assist with our enquiries.”
Police want anyone with dashcam or mobile footage from the area to come forward. Witnesses can call 101 or report online, quoting serial 455 of 23/03.
