Gunshots Rock High Trees Estate in Tulse Hill

Police are hunting for witnesses after suspected gunshots rang out early Thursday morning in the High Trees Estate, Tulse Hill, Lambeth. The unsettling incident happened at around 12:18 AM on June 13.

Witnesses Sought — Black VW ID.5 Spotted

Officers rushed to the scene following reports of gunfire but found no injuries. Detective Inspector Martin Thomas urged anyone in the area who heard or saw shots fired to come forward immediately.

Police are especially keen to speak with anyone who spotted a black VW ID.5 near the scene or noticed any suspicious behaviour around the time of the shooting.

“All reports of this kind are taken incredibly seriously and are investigated thoroughly,” said DI Thomas. “I urge local residents to check their doorbell and dash cam footage – any captured details could prove vital.”

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a suspected firearms discharge in Lambeth. Police responded promptly after receiving reports at 00:18hrs on Thursday, 13 June in the High Trees Estate, Tulse Hill. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. We want to speak to anyone who saw a black VW ID.5 or noticed suspicious activity in the area around that time.”
