Dog Leap Sparks Bite Scare

Kent Police are on the hunt after a woman was bitten by a dog while waiting at East Street traffic lights, Faversham, last Wednesday afternoon. At around 4pm on November 27, a stocky dark brown dog on a lead suddenly jumped up and bit the woman’s arm. Thankfully, her thick clothing stopped any injury.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

PC Sophie Rumsey said: “The dog involved in this incident was allegedly out of control, and while the victim was protected from injury by her clothing, we are concerned that another member of the public or a child could have come to harm. We are keen to trace the dog’s owner and are urging witnesses to call our appeal line.”
