Desperate Search Launched for Missing 14-Year-Old Millie in Sussex

A frantic hunt is underway for 14-year-old Millie who vanished from Worthing, Sussex. Police fear she may have been abducted and have ramped up their efforts by classifying the case as high-risk.

Family’s Heartbreaking Plea for Millie’s Safe Return

Millie’s mother begged the public for help on social media, revealing her deep distress and fears for her daughter’s safety. “Millie would never do this to us. She loves her home comforts too much, and we are worried they have taken her phone. Everything is really happy at home—this is not like her at all,” she said.

Millie was last seen at a local park on the evening of Saturday, February 15. Just two minutes from home, she was expected back within five minutes. But then she suddenly switched off her phone’s location, blocked family and friends, and disappeared without a trace.

Clues Emerge: Last Known Movements and Voice Note

A voice note sent around midnight suggests Millie was on a train to East Croydon with two older boys named Corey and Tyler, plus another girl. The group had been drinking and were reportedly heading to a party, planning to stay overnight in a hotel.

Her mother, consumed by worry, said: “Millie is not in a ditch, but I definitely don’t feel she is safe! I’m just waiting and hoping she comes home safe to me.” She made a heartfelt plea to Millie: “Millie Moo, you are not in any trouble. Please just come home to me.”

Sussex Police Scramble to Find Millie

Sussex Police confirmed they are actively searching Millie and following several leads. They have urged anyone who has seen her or knows her whereabouts to call 999 immediately, quoting serial 229 of 15/02.

Authorities have also asked people to report if they spot Millie with the two older males in the Croydon area.

Community Rallies Behind Missing Teen

The public has flooded social media with support, sharing the family’s plea far and wide. The search continues around the clock, with everyone praying for Millie’s safe and speedy return home.
