Massive Search Launched for Missing Mum in Lancashire
A frantic hunt is underway for 45-year-old Nicola Bulley, who vanished while walking her dog near the River Wyre in Lancashire.
Disappearance Details
Nicola was last spotted at 9.15 a.m., two days ago, on a footpath by the River Wyre off Garstang Road in St Michael’s on Wyre village. Her beloved brown Spaniel was found nearby, raising hopes for fresh leads.
All Units Scramble to Find Nicola
Police, fire crews, mountain rescue teams, underwater search divers, and drone units have been deployed in a desperate bid to find her. Helicopters and search dogs are combing the area as volunteer groups rally to help.
Police Appeal and Safety Warning
Chief Inspector Chris Barton said: “Nicola has been missing for two days, and we are very worried about her. If anyone saw her on Friday morning or has any information, please contact us immediately.”
The police urged locals helping with the search to stay safe. The River Wyre and its banks are extremely hazardous, with the force warning the public about the real dangers posed by the terrain.
