Police biker hurt in high-speed crash with car on Kent road

A police motorcyclist on training slammed into a car on the A259 Dymchurch Road, St Mary’s Bay, Kent, at around 5:17pm last Saturday.

Collision sparked as car turned from side road

The car was turning out of Seaway Road when the crash happened. The bike careened off the road and ended up in a ditch. The officer was reportedly speeding during the training exercise.

Soldiers rush to aid injured officer

Nearby soldiers sprang into action, helping the motorcyclist before paramedics arrived. The rider was rushed to hospital, though their injuries remain unconfirmed.

Long road closure for police investigation

Kent Roads Policing shut the road for around four hours to investigate the smash. More details on the officer’s condition are yet to emerge.
