Tragedy on A127: Police Name Victim in Seven-Vehicle Pile-Up

Police have identified one of the two people who died in a massive crash on the A127 in Havering. She is Eileen Moria Haskell, 64, from Upminster, Essex.

Seven Vehicles and Pedestrians Involved

The horrific collision happened around 1:15pm on Thursday, 20 February at the junction of Squirrels Heath Road and the A127.

A black Volkswagen was reported to have smashed into pedestrians before crashing into six other vehicles on the busy road.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

  • London Ambulance Service
  • London’s Air Ambulance

All rushed to the scene in a bid to rescue and treat the injured. Despite their efforts, Eileen and another victim tragically lost their lives.
