Urgent Search Underway for Missing Woman in Arundel
Police are deeply concerned for the safety of Laurel Aldridge, 62, who vanished from her home in Walberton, near Arundel.
Described as very vulnerable, Laurel was last spotted on the morning of Tuesday, February 14. She was wearing a turquoise fleece, a maroon tartan scarf, a brown hat, and carrying a grey puffer jacket.
What Laurel Looks Like

- Hair: Grey with blonde highlights
- Often wears glasses
Police Plea: Check Your Outbuildings!
Detective Sergeant Alan Fenn urged locals: “We thank everyone who has helped so far. Our team is chasing multiple leads and determined to find Laurel. Residents in Walberton and Slindon, please check sheds, barns, and outbuildings. If you were in the area on Tuesday morning or have any video showing someone matching Laurel’s description, report it immediately.”
He added: “The family is being supported by a dedicated officer and kept updated throughout the investigation.”
